Iight, this was an on the spot thing... no story, i wasnt in the mood, but did it anyway, the roses i did freehand, and the letters were filled in, again.... enjoy... 1ne....

I mean, i always put forth my best, but it was one of those, i was in the mood to do something more extensive as we first spoke about, other than a touch up and some roses, & also, he was on his way to another state, so he wanted them done for his mom when he got there... I was into inking it, i just wasnt into it when i was under the impression of something else, lol... it was all good though, we both walked away happy...

i gotcha...i mean, with my extensive tattoo knowledge (watching miami ink) it seams there's a lot of give and take from what the customer wants to what you as the artist wants to give...i guess sometimes you find common ground and sometimes you dont

yea, actually, artists on Miami ink are picky, but at the same time know what they are talking about. I watched them even before i was tattooing, very inspirational artists, and I also spoke to a selected few on several occasions, But it all depends also on what you want to do, artist & customer, it is for sure a common ground, but for me. I don't always choose, I give suggestions and thoughts, and if I'm able to do it, i give honest feedback about particulars and what not, but to try and have more ground than the customer, your always gonna gonna get negative feed... I love art and i don't care what it is i 'will' do it, but at the same time, you want to be able to have the customer feel good about your work as well as you feeling the same way... If i don't find a common ground with my customers off the rip, then the artists relationship with the customer is severed, b/c if you don't know or automatically have a viewpoint of a customers image, then i don't think your good enough to carry out my thoughts, if you don't have very good ideas yourself, specially being the 'artist' then how can i believe you ca satisfy me as a customer with little to none knowledge of art to begin with. I want someone who can put words to action as i am speaking...

everyones different ya know... But we can definitely talk about tattooing ALLDAY LONG, lol.... As you can see....

CHERRY BOMB (rose)
OPAQUE WHITE (highlights)
OCEAN GREEN (stem)
SKY BLUE (mixed shading on the stem for depth)
